Teaching a dog not to grab things from you requires patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Start by teaching the "leave it" command, which instructs your dog to leave objects alone when directed. Use treats to reward your dog for ignoring items you place within reach and only allow them to access the item when they obey the command. Consistently reinforce this behavior during daily interactions to help your dog understand what is expected.
Additionally, ensure that your dog has plenty of appropriate toys and chew items to redirect their attention away from grabbing objects they shouldn't have. With time and practice, your dog will learn to respect boundaries and refrain from grabbing items from you.
